The Couples and The Enneagram Relationship Inventory (CERI)© is a growth-focused assessment created by Michelle Joy, LMFT, a licensed marriage and family therapist specializing in couples for over 20 years.
Unlike traditional Enneagram tests that focus on general personality traits, the CERI is designed to uncover how your Enneagram type shows up in intimate relationships. It draws on:
- Clinical observation from thousands of hours of couples therapy
- The Developmental Enneagram for Couples™ model
- The intersection of attachment, differentiation, and Enneagram type patterns
Important: The CERI is not intended as a scientific or psychometric instrument. Instead, it is a professionally developed, experience-based tool for self-reflection, personal growth, and improving relationship dynamics. Your results offer insight, language, and next steps to support more conscious connection.
How to Take the Quiz
- Read each statement carefully.
- For each statement, choose:
- Mostly True – This resonates strongly and describes you in most relationships.
- Somewhat True – This is sometimes true for you, depending on the situation.
- Hardly Ever True – This rarely or never applies to you.
